Warren County Soccer Club

The Mustangs traveled to Nashville TN this past weekend and came away champions.  Beautiful skies and immaculate fields greeted the Mustangs as they arrived for the dreaded 8:00 am game.  After a slow start to their season, the Mustangs took care of business with an impressive 4-1 victory.  The next two matches saw the Mustangs play brilliantly as they outscored their opponents 27 - 0 (that is not a typo).  The Mustangs entered the championship riding high, but they encountered a very skilled and determined TN team.  Undaunted by a 2-1 deficit and buoyed by their coaches desperate admonitions to quit crying and start playing soccer, the Mustangs came alive in the second half and with just under 4minutes to play, Molly tucked the game winner just beyond the outstretched arms of the oppositions' goalie.  As the whistle blew, the crowd went crazy, extolling the Mustangs 6-5 victory.
